MICHAEL VAN GERWEN & JOE CULLEN both moved into the quarter-finals of the BetVictor Masters with opening round victories.

Defending champion Van Gerwen defeated Jonny Clayton on Friday before Cullen produced a superb debut display to see of world number two Rob Cross on Saturday.

The pair are back in action on Sunday with Van Gerwen taking on Mensur Suljovic in the afternoon’s quarter-finals, while Cullen meets James Wade.
