JOHN HENDERSON won a high quality affair against Germany’s Gabriel Clemens to reach the third round of the William Hill World Championship. 
A match that saw five ton-plus checkouts was sealed by a 120 finish from Scotland’s Henderson, who clinched the five-set contest to progress.

Henderson took out 97 to level the first set at 1-1 before Clemens replied with a spectacular 125 (Bull, 25, Bull) checkout. 15 and 13 darters from Henderson saw him claim the set though.

A 141 finish helped Clemens win the second set and he edged the third set 3-2 to move ahead in the match.

Henderson landed a crucial 141 checkout of his own to win the deciding leg in set five before winning final set 3-1, which he sealed with a 120 finish.
