LUKE HUMPHRIES AND BRAD BROOKS will make their debuts as PDC professionals this weekend when the 2018 ProTour season gets underway in Wigan.

Humphries (pictured) earned his tour card as reward for winning the 2017 Development Tour, while rising star Brooks came through Q-School to secure a place on the professional circuit.

The pair will compete in three UK Open qualifiers at Robin Park between Friday and Sunday alongside fellow debutant Danny Noppert and several fellow MODUS-represented stars.

Arron Monk, who also came through Q-School, is looking to reignite his career after an absence from the professional circuit.

Richard North is looking to build on a strong first year as a pro, which saw him qualify for the World Grand Prix and World Championship.

Former World Youth Champion Keegan Brown and October’s World Grand Prix semi-finalist John Henderson hope to build on strong showings at the World Championship.

Michael Van Gerwen and Simon Whitlock head into Friday’s first event fresh from opening night victories in the Unibet Premier League.
