Michael van Gerwen defeated Phil Taylor in the final of the 2013 Players Championship with a blistering performance in Minehead.

The 24-year-old, who defeated Wes Newton and Andy Hamilton on Sunday to reach the decider, produced an astonishing comeback from 6-3 down to triumph 11-7 over the world number one.
