TICKETS are now on sale for the inaugural KL.FM Darts Masters, which will see some of the stars of the world’s most popular indoor sport appear in King’s Lynn later this year.

World Champions Raymond Van Barneveld and Mark Webster will be competing at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on Wednesday 17 October.

They will be joined by top current professionals Joe Cullen and Richard North – and darts legend Bobby George, who will add his usual showmanship and razzmatazz to one of the best nights out in professional sport.

Dutch ace Van Barneveld is one of the game’s true greats, having amassed five World Championship titles in a glittering career.

He said: “I am really looking forward to this event and I am telling you, if you have never been to the darts before, come.

“We are lucky to play in a sport where the atmosphere is amazing. Everybody is always having a great time and that is something we are all very proud of.

“The players in this event are very strong and it will be a top night of entertainment and high quality performance from the players.”

Welshman Webster has also experienced World Championship glory, along with runs to the finals of other major events, including the Players Championship and World Cup of Darts.

Cullen, Yorkshire’s top player, has picked up a couple of professional titles and has become a serious contender for big titles. He is also regarded as one of the sport’s most watchable and marketable players.

North made a huge impact in his debut season as a professional last year and is always a dangerous opponent for the big stars of darts.

George needs little introduction as he is one of the most famous faces the game has ever produced. He was an excellent player in his own right and a pioneer of the showbiz side of the sport that has helped to see it sell out arenas around the globe.
