World class stars Michael van Gerwen and Simon Whitlock will bring extra gloss to the life of one darts fan around the UK – should they hit a perfect finish during the Premier League.

Leading trade paint manufacturer Leyland Paints sponsor two of the biggest names in the sport and have provided the ideal incentive for either player to turn on the style during the 16-week tour of the United Kingdom, which starts in Liverpool on Thursday night.

Should World Champion and world number one van Gerwen or third ranked Whitlock hit a nine-dart finish in any leg during the Premier League, one lucky fan will win a lifetime supply of Leyland Paints in an exciting new initiative.

Dutch star Van Gerwen, who has recently linked up with Leyland Paints and is the reigning Premier League champion, said: “I can’t wait to get started with the Premier League because it’s a brilliant tournament involving the world’s best players.

“To have the chance to win somebody a lifetime supply of paint thanks to Leyland Paints is another exciting part of the event and I will be doing everything I can to make it happen.

“I’m sure somebody will hit a nine-dart leg during the Premier League and I hope it’s me!”
