RICHARD NORTH has enjoyed an extremely successful first season as a PDC professional in 2017.
Not only did the Hampshire ace make his debut at the World Grand Prix in October, but he is also set to compete at the Players Championship Finals and World Championship as he bids to make an impressive debut season even better.
North made it to the second round of the prestigious double-start tournament in Dublin and his hoping to make further progress in upcoming major events.
He will also compete at the Grand Slam of Darts qualifier to try an earn a spot in Wolverhampton in November.
North finished 16th on the final Players Championship Order of Merit, securing that position seeding in Minehead.
He is 27th on the ProTour Order of Merit and already inside the top 64 in the main Order of Merit (world rankings) – an excellent achievement in his first year as a pro.
