SEVERAL MODUS represented stars will appear in next month’s Coral UK Open finals at Butlins, Minehead, after the six qualifying events were completed over two weekends in Wigan.

Two-time champion Michael Van Gerwen topped the Order of Merit after winning the first two qualifiers before opting not to compete in the final three last weekend.

The world number one will begin his campaign in round three along with John Henderson, Steve West, Jonny Clayton, Simon Whitlock and 2012 winner Robert Thornton – who all finished in the top 32 of the 96 professional qualifying spots available.

Joe Cullen, Keegan Brown, Danny Noppert, Vincent Van der Voort and Richard North will enter in the second round, having finished between 33rd and 64th on in the final Order of Merit.

Exciting youngster Bradley Brooks, Dirk Van Duijvenbode, Ryan Meikle, Luke Humphries, Lee Evans and veteran star Andy Jenkins all also did enough to qualify and will enter in round one.
