Ladbrokes UK Open: Whitlock Reaches Last 16

SIMON WHITLOCK moved into the last 16 of the Ladbrokes UK Open with a brilliant victory over Gabriel Clemens on Saturday afternoon in Minehead.

Whitlock, who had beaten Jan Dekker on Friday, claimed hard-fought win over German star Clemens – taking out a brilliant 143 checkout to triumph 10-8.

‘The Wizard’ faces Josh Payne on Saturday evening.
