European Tour: Van Gerwen, Brown and Clayton Progress

MODUS TRIO Michael van Gerwen, Keegan Brown and Jonny Clayton all reached the last 16 of the European Darts Grand Prix with victories in Sindelfingen on Saturday.

Van Gerwen, who has won four of the first five European Tour events in 2018, edged past Brendan Dolan 6-5.

Brown (pictured) defeated Ricky Evans, while Clayton saw off Ross Smith.

The tournament concludes on Sunday.
