MODUS TRIO Simon Whitlock, Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen all made it through to the last 16 of the Danish Darts Open with wins on Saturday in Copenhagen.

Last year’s runner-up Whitlock won the last three legs of his match with UK Open Champion Nathan Aspinall to win 6-4.

Cullen (pictured) enjoyed a 6-1 victory over Kevin Burness, while Clayton silenced the partisan home crowd with a 6-5 success over Denmark’s Per Laursen.

Whitlock, Cullen and Clayton advance to Sunday’s final day of action where the winner will be crowned.
