Dutch Duo Progress in Dublin

DUTCH PAIR Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert enjoyed World Grand Prix first round victories in Dublin.

Defending champion van Gerwen landed a game-changing 135 checkout as he came from a set down to defeat Jamie Hughes 2-1 on Sunday.

Noppert (pictured) earned an impressive victory over 2017 winner Daryl Gurney to reach the last 16.
