Michael van Gerwen remains in contention to win his first UK Open title after moving into the quarter-finals with victory over Mark Webster on Saturday evening.
van Gerwen prevailed 9-4 against the Welshman at Minehead as he averaged over 100 for the second time in a row.
The reigning World Champion will take on Ian White in Sunday afternoon’s quarter-finals.
James Wade was denied a place in the quarter-finals after he was edged out in a last-leg decider by Terry Jenkins.
