JOHN HENDERSON AND SIMON WHITLOCK both won through to the semi-finals of the Unibet World Grand Prix but Robert Thornton bowed out on a dramatic night in Dublin.

Henderson stunned Raymond van Barneveld with a 3-1 victory and will meet Daryl Gurney in the semi-finals after the Northern Irishman ended Thornton’s hopes.

Whitlock cruised to a straight sets success against Benito Van de Pas to set up as last four clash with Mensur Suljovic, who knocked out Peter Wright.
