RICHARD NORTH continued his impressive start to life as a professional darts player by reaching his first PDC ProTour final in Barnsley on Sunday.
The Hampshire ace, who earned his tour card at Q-School in January, had previously reached three quarter-finals in his debut season – and came within one leg of winning Players Championship 18 before losing out 6-5 to world number six Dave Chisnall.
North’s brilliant run also puts him in the last tentative spot to qualify for October’s World Grand Prix.
