DANNY NOPPERT reached back-to-back semi-finals and hit a nine-darter as MODUS players impressed at the weekend’s Players Championship events in Barnsley.

Noppert produced a perfect leg in Saturday’s semi-final against Gabriel Clemens – and went on to reach the last four again in Sunday’s event but was denied a place in the final by Ricky Evans.

John Henderson continued his good start to the year with a run to the quarter-finals on both days, where he was defeated by Clemens and Noppert respectively.
