THE WINNER of a first round meeting between former Ladies World Championship finalists Fallon Sherrock and Corrine Hammond will be looking to go a step further at this year’s tournament.

The MODUS-represented pair were drawn against each other in the opening round of the 2019 event and will meet on Sunday at the famous Lakeside Country Club, Surrey.

Sherrock (pictured above) took glory in the BDO World Trophy in a fantastic 2018 and also defeated Hammond at Lakeside last year.

Hammond (pictured below), however, reached the final of both the World Championship and World Masters in 2017 and the match is expected to be a close and exciting contest.
