LUKE HUMPHRIES won the World Youth Championship with a dominant final victory over Adam Gawlas in Minehead on Sunday. 

The 24-year-old ace won back-to-back Development Tour titles in 2017 & 2018 and added the title to his roll of honour in his final opportunity.

“This means the world to me,” said Humphries, a quarter-finalist at the World Championship last year.

“I’ve had an up and down year and come through a lot but I’m really proud of myself.”
